Hoki-dachi

Japanese name: Hoki-dachi
English name: Broom style
Dutch name: Bezemstijl
A short vertical stem with a mass of branches forming a rounded top, with a horizontal underside.
The root system is an important part of the form, and should be evenly spaced and spread in all directions.
The branches should be very fine and form a compact and intricate network.

This style should be full of leaves in the summer, give rich colours in the autumn, and should show the beauty of the intricate network in the winter months.
